When we're in Murphy, we ALWAYS have to go to Julie's Place. Named one of the best restaurants in the country, Julie and her daughters serve up some of the very best, down-home, southern grub you'll ever eat.

-Bacon cheeseburger soup with potatoes: folks this was so freaking good with cheesy strings of goodness as we scooped it out of the bowl. I totally drank the last of it out of the bowl like a heathen. 10/10
-Side salad was great. Nothing special, but so fresh and great homemade dressing. 9/10
-The biscuits. These biscuits are simply life changing. Hands down THE BEST BISCUITS ON THE PLANET. Scratch made, crisp and flaky on the outside and cloud-like fluffiness in the middle. Slather 'em with homemade warm apple butter for a mouthgasm. 273/10
-Fried chicken. Does southern food even get any better than fried chicken? Whether you get the boneless or bone-in, it's a mouthwatering combo of plump juicy chicken wrapped in a light, crispy, and flavorful coating. Ya gotta eat it with some smashed potatoes and sawmill gravy, it's the best!!
