McKinley joined Garden City Realty in the Laundry Department in April 2024. He says it's a great place to work with a good work environment. He thinks the staff are exciting and nice and everyone works hard at their jobs.

McKinley was born in Illinois and moved to the Grand Strand 26 years ago when his father got a job there. He has three children: Zamiah, Desirae, and Zaylen. Among his life accomplishments is successfully transitioning out of the restaurant business.

His hobbies include traveling, playing basketball, and watching movies. He also likes shopping and eating. However, he dislikes the ocean.
