‼️Exciting things happening with our flight schools!!‼️
Brett Thompson on the left graduated Florence high-school on Friday and soloed his first airplane today. His checkride for his private pilot is on June 22nd and he’s been admitted to the Auburn flight program where he’ll start his instrument training in August!
His friend and classmate Aiden Hurd is on the right. He is supporting his friend and Aiden is also taking his private pilot checkride on the 22nd of June. Aiden was admitted to the Embry riddle Flight program, where he will start in July.
We love getting to see people chase after their dreams and would love to see you do the same! ✈️✈️

Happy Friday y’all!! We have made it to the weekend 🙌🏼 The weather is beautiful today which means we have had lots of planes drop in. Earlier we got to meet the sweetest family greet their son as he flew in to pick up passengers in our area! We love getting to meet new people each day.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the ribbon cutting of the new spec hangar located at our airport. We had the honor of welcoming Mayor Mike Lockhart, Kevin Jackson, President of SEDA, Macke Mauldin, SEDA Board Chairman, Kenneth Boswell, Director of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, Rans Black, ADO Manager, Frank Farmer, Chief of the Alabama Department of Transportation, and multiple other local leaders in the surrounding area. Our very own Airport Director, Barry Griffith, gave insight on our excitement and readiness for what the spec hangar will have to offer in the future.
Again, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this project happen! We will keep you updated on future events to come!✈️✈️
