The main reason for booking our trip in October was for Rob to get to experience the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It had been 11 years since I had gone to the party myself, and it was always a favorite of mine. When it looked like Hurricane Milton might interfere with an our Halloween party for Tuesday, October 8, I decided on Sunday, October 6, to see if they had any available tickets to that nights party. Luckily, we were able to score 2 tickets for that evening due to people cancelling their vacations.
Sunday’s party was wet & soggy… and CROWDED! We tried to watch the parade from Frontierland, but it was miserably crowded and I had finally had enough, also because of the rain it was a modified parade with no headless horseman. 😭😭😭 We opted instead to ride Tianna’s, Tron, & trick or treat before heading back to our room for the evening. I was disappointed because it was not what I had envisioned for our party night and I feared our Tuesday night party would surely be cancelled.
Well, to my surprise, Tuesday’s weather was perfect & also to my surprise, Rachel decided to join us for the party that evening! Tuesday’s party was everything I had hoped for! We had perfect spots on Main Street for the parade and we got to see the Headless Horseman!! We got spots right up front for the Hocus Pocus Spelltacular as well as the Fireworks show!! It was AMAZING!! The crowds were very low (I’m guessing due to the impending hurricane) we rode Tron & hit lots of candy spots before calling it a night! 🎃 👻

Our beautiful studio at Saratoga Springs Resort. We LOVED this room, all except our view from the balcony which overlooked the parking lot. ☹️
We were in the Congress Park section which was walking distance to Disney Springs. We loved the feel of this resort and will most definitely be staying here again in the future!

I cannot say enough about this AMAZING tour at Animal Kingdom! The Wild Africa Trek was so much fun! Included in this group tour, is an up close look at many of the animals including the hippos & crocodiles. You are harnessed in and get to cross a rope bridge, so closed toe shoes are required. Also included is a private safari ride tour for your group as well as a picnic in the Savana, and complimentary photo services! I will say, this was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had at the parks! It was simply AMAZING & I can’t wait to do it again!!
If this is something you would like to know more about, message me & I will be happy to give you more details! 🤩

Review of Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar at Disney Springs
This is a restaurant that Rob & I have wanted to try for quite some time. We love the speakeasy concept and the decor and ambiance fit perfectly with that theming.
We looked at the menu before going and had already decided on our entrees. *Important note here* some items on the online menu were no longer being offered. Originally Rob was going to order the ribeye steak but they don’t have that anymore so we both ended up ordering Bistecca Alla Plancha, a 14oz Prime NY Strip, roasted Asparagus, Parmigiano Potatoes, 12yr Balsamic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
We both ordered our steaks medium rare and they were both just a tad undercooked. For us, that’s not an issue at all, but it may be for others.
As far as the flavor and pairings of the dish we both give this a 9 out of 10. The asparagus & potatoes were near perfection! The flavor of the steak was incredible, however the actual cut of meat was just ok. I rate the actual steak a 7 out of 10 and Rob gives it an 8 out of 10. The first few bites were great, but as we continued to eat it, there was a lot of fat and gristle especially for a NY Strip.
As far as drinks, Rob had the Enzo’s Fedora
Buffalo Trace single-barrel bourbon, Amaro Lucano Reserva, Enzo’s house bitters, Demerara, & orange for $17. He gives his drink a 9 out of 10. According to his palette, it was perfectly blended, the flavors didn’t overwhelm the whiskey and the whiskey didn’t overwhelm the flavors.
I had the Pink Paradise from the Zero Proof drink selections. It was strawberry puree, lime juice, lemonade, & sprite. While my drink was delicious, I only give it a 7 out of 10 mainly due to the $12 price tag for a non-alcoholic mocktail.
Overall, we give Enzo’s an 8 out 10 stars ⭐️
This is definitely a place we would go back to!
