Being prepared for storms at both homes!

A High Wind Warning will go into effect at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/9/2024) for coastal areas of Horry County. This is an upgrade in severity and replaces the High Wind Watch.

Gusts up to 60 mph will be possible at times. These gusts do not include potentially stronger winds within thunderstorms or tornadoes.

With high winds in the forecast, everyone should secure outside items and furniture. High profile vehicles should use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Charge devices tonight should power outages occur.

Remain weather aware.
