If you're like me, visiting a church while traveling can be exciting but finding a good fit can leave you unsure as to where to go.

This recommendation for church while on vacation is about great music and biblical teaching in the message. People are friendly, you can let them know you are a visitor and they will take care of you or slip in quietly to just enjoy the worship based on your comfort.

We are excited to announce that Ocean Lakes Family Campground has been awarded “ARVC Park of the Year” (Mega Park Category) by the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) during ARVC’s Annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo today in Orlando, FL. The award is presented to the campground that consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences as a result of its all-around excellence. This is the seventh time the family-owned campground has earned the industry’s highest award.

We are appreciative and humbled for the recognition and prestigious award. As we accept this award, we think back to July 2, 1971, and then to where we are today. We continue to grow and expand on Mr. and Mrs. Jackson’s vision. To all of our Happy Campers, Annual Leaseholders, and Teammates - Your love, support, and dedication to the campground are a big reason we are bringing this award home – Thank you all ❤️

Murrells Inlet, SC – It really is guaranteed to be the most wonderful time of the year at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk this holiday season! NEW FOR 2022- We are so pleased to announce that not only will our MarshWalk Wonderland of Lights walk-through Christmas light experience be returning to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, but it is sure to be our most spectacular Christmas light display yet! Bring the family, a friend, or that special someone and stroll the holiday lights on the MarshWalk. Relax, enjoy the salt air breeze, get in the holiday spirit- and have a Merry MarshWalk Christmas.

This spectacular Christmas light walk-through experience will feature our eight MarshWalk restaurants’ buildings along the ½ mile boardwalk outlined in an array of Christmas lights paired with stunning arches in front of each restaurant displaying thousands of lights themed with the best Christmas songs that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

A Huge LED Christmas tree will be featured at the end of the Veteran’s Pier that will make the perfect backdrop for your holiday photos and will be visible from any restaurant along the MarshWalk! We will also have many festive photo opportunities spread throughout the MarshWalk for you to stop and pose with along the way including a Candy Cane Arch, a Gingerbread House, Santa, and a giant Christmas Ornament.

A Santa’s Village will feature children’s activities, visits with Santa, Christmas Characters, and much more!

Our Vendor Market will feature many local artisians where you can find that perfect Christmas gift! Christmas shopping has never been more fun!

Admission is free to the MarshWalk Wonderland of Lights walk-through experience. Event details including specific dates and hours of operation to follow.

The MarshWalk Group includes the following restaurants: Bovine’s, Wahoo’s Fish House, Drunken Jacks, Creek Ratz, Dead Dog Saloon, The Claw House, The Wicked Tuna, and Mojo’s Marina Bar and Grille.
