The Association is a coalition that provides one voice for the Grand Strand hospitality industry. This trade Association is built upon the premise that alone we can achieve little, but together we can achieve much. nformation. The weekly newsletter curates local and national news on the Grand Strand area, trends in the industry, economic analysis, advocacy issues, and events in one convenient email.

•Advocacy. Issues impacting the hospitality industry are addressed in one unified message.
•Joint-Membership. If your company is in hospitality, by joining the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, you will automatically receive membership in the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and the South Carolina Restaurant Lodging Association.
•Events. We host several events throughout the year that connect members with the community to garner support for the hospitality industry.

From its humble beginnings to the vibrant tourist destination it is today, Myrtle Beach has a rich history full of charm and transformation.

Over the years, Myrtle Beach has blossomed with new hotels, attractions, and one of the first amusement parks in the South. The construction of the Intracoastal Waterway in 1936 and the opening of Myrtle Beach State Park in 1935 helped turn it into the beloved vacation hotspot we know today. 🌺🏖️

Whether it’s family fun on the beach, world-class golf, or a stroll along the iconic boardwalk, Myrtle Beach remains a cornerstone of South Carolina's coastline, blending history with endless entertainment. 🎡

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Crown Reef Beach Resort & Waterpark lights up pink every evening this October, supporting breast cancer awareness and the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides campaign 💖✨.

Their team has joined together with guests and Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts to raise funds for breast cancer research and support. From donations to special activities, they’re committed to making a difference.

Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark was also honored to host this year's Beach Walk, where over 340 participants—including 60+ survivors—joined in raising awareness and hope. 💪💗
