Meet Beth Freitas, a proud local from Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach and a true MVP in the Myrtle Beach Pelicans organization. Starting her career as a Branch Manager at a staffing agency, Beth’s journey is a testament to resilience and dedication. When the economy caused her office to close, Beth seamlessly transitioned into a new role with the Pelicans—and 17 years later, she’s still knocking it out of the park!
Known as the “Swiss Army knife” of the office, Beth’s versatility and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable member of the Pelicans family. She’s always ready to step up, support her team, and tackle any challenge with a smile.
Beth’s reaction to winning the MBAHA Heart of the House Employee of the Year award? Pure disbelief! “I thought it was a scam,” she said. But it wasn’t! The heartfelt nomination from her colleagues was proof of how much her hard work and loyalty mean to those around her.
