The Wise family fights to protect the integrity of one of the last Black-owned beach communities in America – if only they could stop fighting each other. Written by Cynthia Grace Robinson and directed by Cezar Williams, "The Black Pearl" will have its premiere with full production here at Coastal Carolina University.

The North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is the largest on the Grand Strand with over 100 parade entries and a long history of fun! Masses of people line Main Street each year to get a glimpse of this parade, which starts at 9 a.m.

After the parade, continue the fun with a street festival! Three stages of live entertainment will keep you in the Irish spirit all day. Expect Irish pipe bands, Irish dancers and many more live performances, with over 120 craft vendors as well.

Food vendors and Main Street businesses will have a variety of Irish treats and festival food favorites for everyone to enjoy, and don't forget to keep an eye out for all the street entertainers and leprechauns that scurry around this festival!
