TRAVEL INSURANCE.....we came close to needing to use ours a couple of times. We flew from Boston to London through the middle of the night and each got less than an hour of sleep. We were like zombies walking around Heathrow. We made our way on to the Heathrow Express which took us to Paddington. When my son realized his suitcase was missing I rushed around speaking with anyone I could. Everyone who worked at the train station was so nice and helpful. After about ten minutes I found it. The whole time I was running around like a determined zombie I kept telling myself "we have travel insurance to cover lost luggage, we have travel insurance to cover lost luggage". We were so happy to have our suitcase back and not need to use our insurance, but it was such a comfort to know it was there for us if we needed it.

I'm sure most people know this, but Disney Cruise Line has a private island in The Bahamas! My mind was blown when I learned of this years ago. The L. family got to spend the last day of their cruise there, at Castaway Cay (key)! I was sad to learn that high winds caused cancellation of some or all of their planned activities, but at Castaway Cay it's easy to find alternative ways to have fun. There are a lot of things I can accomplish with my fairy dust, but controlling the weather is sadly not one of them.
