UPDATE: Our 7 pm tour is canceled due to ice but our 4 PM is a go in the snow!

Hey Seaside Shadows guests! 🌙💀 While our 7 PM My Bloody Valentine tour on 2/15 is still scheduled to run, we want to give everyone a heads-up about the forecast. Inclement weather and potentially hazardous driving conditions are expected later in the evening. Your safety comes first, and we understand this may not be ideal for everyone.

If you'd prefer to adjust your plans, we’re offering options to reschedule to:

📜💀 Love, Legends, and Lupercalia 💀📜

Happy Valentine's Day from Seaside Shadows! ❤️ But did you know that before chocolates and roses, love had a much wilder, more mysterious origin?

Enter Lupercalia—an ancient Roman festival held on February 15th that was anything but romantic in the traditional sense. Dedicated to Lupercus, the god of fertility, and the legendary she-wolf who nursed Romulus and Remus, this festival was a mix of sacred rites and primal energy.

Priests, known as Luperci, would sacrifice goats and dogs, smearing the blood on their foreheads before running through the streets of Rome, striking young women with strips of goat hide—believed to boost fertility and ensure an easy childbirth. Some say this festival later evolved into Valentine’s Day, blending pagan traditions with Christian influences.

✨ Weekend Adventures in the Paranormal ✨

This past weekend, Seaside Shadows founders Courtney and Marty had the amazing opportunity to visit Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas for the very first time—and WOW, we were completely blown away! 👻

From the moment we stepped inside, the energy was palpable, and the exhibits were nothing short of mind-blowing. We were so impressed that we went through the tour twice! Each time, we uncovered something new, and the detail and authenticity of the museum left us speechless.

To top it off, we participated in a late-night flash investigation that brought some incredible paranormal activity to light—it was an experience we won’t forget anytime soon.

We’ve always appreciated Zak Bagans’ groundbreaking work on Ghost Adventures—it’s inspired so much of the paranormal community, including us! Seeing his dedication to preserving history and sharing these chilling stories firsthand was a real honor.
