Trip of a lifetime. If visiting Canada, Greenland and Iceland is on your bucket list there is a trip that I am leading on August 6th, 2023. There are no balcony or suites left but Ocean view rooms begin at $1664 per person.
Airfare prices are not available at this time . The ship leaves out of Cape Liberty in NJ and a one way flight is required from Iceland back to the USA. Once cruise line releases the fares I will be in touch.

Last week, I shared the news that the CDC has dropped its requirement that air travelers must take a Covid-19 test before flying to the U.S. This is welcome news to cruise passengers disembarking their cruises in Europe and other destinations, and it applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated U.S. travelers. Non-U.S. travelers may also fly to the U.S. now without a Covid test but must be vaccinated.

I want to point out that the removal of this testing requirement means that U.S. travelers can now fly to and from the following popular vacation destinations without proof of vaccination or testing.

Dominican Republic
Hawaii
Jamaica
Mexico
Puerto Rico
U.S. Virgin Islands

Note that entry requirements may differ for citizens of countries other than the U.S. and should be verified in advance of travel. Also, as mentioned above, while non-U.S. citizens flying to the U.S do not need to take a Covid-19 test before departure, they are still required to be fully vaccinated.

White House to lift Covid testing requirement for international travel

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration is lifting its requirement that international air travelers to the U.S. take a COVID-19 test within a day before boarding their flights, easing one of the last remaining government mandates meant to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

A senior administration official said the mandate expires Sunday at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time, saying the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has determined that it's no longer necessary.

The official, speaking Friday on the condition of anonymity to preview the formal announcement, said that the agency would reevaluate the need for the testing requirement every 90 days and that it could be reinstated if a troubling new variant emerges.
