Being a Captain encompasses many things. It's not just about taking people out on the water and showing them shells, dolphins or all the beautiful array of wildlife Mother Nature has to offer us here. In times like these, it's time to shift gears and become another Captain, a Captain of our community, a Captain for other people and a Captain to rebuild.
So I've made a professional decision (along with my referral captain's) to shift "the tides" for now and to give back to Naples and rebuild. Not only rebuild our boating community, but all of the community. Yes, this is the only way that we put food on our table, but I find it very difficult to take people out right now just to make money & do what I love when people not only can't afford any food, but they don't even have a table to put it on. So we are diverting all of our energy, time and efforts to give back to those that are less fortunate. All charters in October have been suspended or rescheduled. And believe it or not, I've had some clients asking to keep their deposits and "pay it forward" to those who need it. And that will be done immediately. What a great Community we have! A lot of our valued clients only come down to Naples once a year or so, they love this place and they want it to thrive and survive... And it will!
