You never know what’s gonna swim up to the boat this time of the year. Throwback to 3 years ago when we got to sight fish this gorgeous gulf sail. Was one of those moments that just fell into place. The afternoon charter on this day canceled on us mid morning. We dropped our morning group off and went right back out. Immediately got to sight fish a Permit out of a school of 200 fish. Went back for another shot and this Sail swam right up to the boat lit up and ready to go. Pitched a live grunt in front of it and that was all she wrote! Not often you see a billfish in 35 feet of water. An epic moment we will cherish forever.

It’s getting fishy out there. Knew it was gonna be a good morning when we got to sight fish this 30 lb cobe before we even got set up. There’s a hint of spring in the air and the fish are getting fired up. The best time of the year is upon us and we’re just getting started. Finally got a chance to stretch our legs out on Big Mo and turn things up a notch. Jumbo Blackfin rodeo for the On a Mission team and our boy Jay this morning! Fish were fired up! Every tuna was caught on artificial! Bonus Cobia doesn’t suck either.

Lucked out with a weather window for .weston.bedell ‘s annual birthday trip and strolled out for an afternoon session for some Cobia action. The cold fronts have been nonstop this winter but utilizing the lay downs has been the key. We’ve been filling numerous trips on the daily for the upcoming spring. Book accordingly!

We are falling in love with this boat insanely fast. Strolled out for a late morning nearshore session to further break her in and she just continues to impress us more and more. This platform is going to push our game to a whole new level and we cannot wait to share it with all of our clients. Afternoon Snook session with a side of jumbo Tripletail. The Snook have been fired up with the cooler temps. We landed one over slot and numerous slots which were all healthily released. Just waiting on the herds of Cobia now!

Few highlights from today and another recent outing. Felt good to get out there and bend some poles after all the crazy weather. We have been busy fine tuning things and preparing for the upcoming fall and winter rush. We are dialing in a couple more things on our custom Morgan and she will be ready to go for the upcoming season! We will be unveiling her very soon and cannot wait to fish with all of our clients on her this season!
