I’m back from a whirlwind trip cut short by hurricane Milton and its effects — my heart is broken for everyone who felt the devastation from the hurricane and other storms.

This trip was magical in its own way, and I walked away feeling so grateful for and impressed by the organization and kindness of the Walt Disney World cast members. They are always phenomenal and truly are the source of the magic on any given trip, but it was beyond evident in the face of a crisis how truly vital and amazing they are!

I want to give it some time before posting highlights and tips from my trip, but felt it so important to shout out the incredible cast members who work so hard. This is your friendly reminder to utilize the cast compliment feature of the My Disney Experience app! 🩵

HAPPY OPENING DAY, PIXAR PLACE HOTEL!!
The transformation from Paradise Pier to Pixar Place Hotel is nothing short of incredible. The detail and love that has gone into every piece of this stunning refurbishment is palpable. From the gorgeous stained glass mobile that greets you from above the main entryway, to the adorably themed pool and splash pad, this hotel is NEXT LEVEL PIXAR but in a classy, beautiful way! As an adult traveling without kids, I appreciated all the details from my childhood favorites, and because the Pixar representation spans their entire repertoire, your kids will feel the same way!

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had fun pops of Pixar and Disney magic throughout.
I truly ONLY have incredible things to say about our stay! The cast members were amazing and helpful, the walk to the parks was SO easy and short- we’re talking 5 minutes to the Disney California Adventure Pixar Place exclusive entrance (that’s right!), 8 minutes to the monorail and Downtown Disney, and 12 to the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure main gates. And those are leisurely paces!

We will absolutely be back, and I cannot recommend this option enough
