I have a few left....hit me up!

I noticed some activity on the DoRagQ FB page so I thought I would give everyone a update. DoRagQ is not actively cooking KCBS BBQ Competitions at this time. I won't say we are "Retired" but we currently have no desire to compete at this time. We do still enjoy cooking for our friends, family, and charity events and we still keep in touch with our BBQ Family and attend several competitions throughout the year. Our time competing holds many many great memories. Our travels took us to some amazing places and along the way we managed to not make anyone sick (that I know of) LOL! We also have a few trophies to show for our efforts but the best trophies are the friendships we formed along the way. Over our 10 years of competitions we managed to meet some lifelong friends and that is what we leave competition BBQ with....

I'd like to thank all those who were a part of the DoRagQ Gang...Jeff Edwards, Gary Lackey, Richard Finley, Jeff McPherson, David Wilson, Pam Wilson, Caryn Hatcher, Bill & Jan Davis, Buck & Lou Buchanan, Momma DoRag, and Dan Watson. More Peeps sportin DoRagQ Swag! Git ya sum!

DoRagQ somehow managed to pull off a 2nd Place Overall (Reserve Grand Champion) at the Sam's Club BBQ Tour contest in Huntsville, AL. We placed 3rd in chicken, 1st in ribs, 5th in pork, & 7th in brisket. This qualifies us to compete in the "Regional Contest" which will be held September 22nd @ the Sam's Club in Hendersonville, TN! Congrats to Wild Bunch Butt Burners (Grand Champion), Swiggin Pig (3rd), Ponderosa BBQ (4th), 2 Men & A Pig (5th), & The Looney Pit (6th) who also move on to the Regional in Hendersonville where 30 Teams will be competing for a top 10 finish in order to move on the the Sam's Club BBQ Tour Finals in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Grand Champion will receive $50,000! Good luck to all & we hope to see you in Bentonville!
