The backyard needed some freshin up!

Added some mulch and a bird feeder where the hammock’s located. Also, added a ton more gravel around the fire pit 🔥

It’s been a busy summer with guests checking in and out but it’s slowed down because school has started. This gives us time to make some necessary upgrades starting off with some fresh flowers to brighten up lodge. Over the last several months the number one request by our guests is to make the backyard more private, and that’s exactly what we will be doing in September. We are going to add a fence that borders around the backyard to offer more privacy. This will also allow us to potentially add future amenities (e.g., hot tub).

Did you know Brown County State Park is Indiana’s largest state park and has a mountain bike trail system of over 25 miles? This past weekend our guests explored the state park by mountain biking the trails. They also took advantage of the Weber grill and sat around the fire pit.

How important is location when it comes to renting an Airbnb? Aside from the amenities, location is just as important! You want to be close to all the local attractions, far from society or a mix of both.

Our lodge sits close to all the local attractions but it's also in a quiet part of town where you can have all the privacy for you and your guests. Perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring Brown County.

Complimentary bathroom essentials provided, including Meyer's soap and lotion, shampoo/conditioner/body wash from Public Goods. Fresh towels will also be ready when you arrive.

Our backyard consists of a fire pit and picnic table along the back porch that’s perfect for an evening of star gazing, dining, and entertainment. Firewood is supplied for all our guests.

We can't wait to share pictures of the completed fire pit area.

When we first stepped into the lodge our first impression was that it was way too dim making it almost impossible to read anything.

During the redesign we made sure to brighten up the space by adding new ceiling lights and choosing decor on the brighter side. This made a HUGE difference.

Whether you're looking to "Work From Home" or just wanting to crack open that book you've been sitting on the past year, our lodge has an office desk, large dining table to spread out your documents and high speed WiFi.

Our Article couches finally arrived today. Once all the other furnishings and decor are set in place, we'll be ready for photos.

Last step is to get all systems synced up and go live by end of February.
