✨ Hey, y’all! We’re John & Abby, a husband and wife duo. We’re SO excited to welcome you to our corner of the internet! 👋

We host a dark and moody Airbnb right here in Nashville and have some fun things planned at our new property that we can’t wait to share with you. 🎉

Things have been on pause recently with us both being in our busiest times with work and school (relatable?!) We hope to pick back up with some fun projects we have in the works.

Our goal is to bring you relatable home renovation content! Thanks for following along 🤗

Hi! 👋

We are John and Abby. We are so happy to have you here! We’ve decided to reframe our page. Yes, we are still building our STR business, Posh Places to Stay. But we want this page to be more about our life journey than our business. We want to share all the ups and downs of our adventure towards financial independence.

2024 has been a year of growth for us so far! The first part of the year we focused on getting our dark and moody Airbnb, Moody Melrose, up and running in Nashville. Now we are focusing on optimizing our processes and making a profit. We also are refocusing on our health. 💪🏻

Here’s a few fun things about us:

- John is a project manager for an engineering company and recently received his MBA! 🎓
- Abby is a nurse in grad school for nurse anesthesia! She’s been studying hard so she can pass her boards in December 📚
- We both love a good home project🛠️
- We have a Saint Berdoodle named Lily who we are obsessed with 🐶

We don’t know exactly what our page will turn into, but we are excited to see where it goes!

We are so pleased with how the first bedroom and bathroom turned out! These are some of my favorite things from this space:
