Did you know that this roller coaster looking piece of art is named the Ghost Ballet for the East Bank Machineworks, abbreviated to the Ghost Ballet. Completed in 2007 this public art piece is part of Nashvilles “Percent for Art” ordinance, which sets aside one percent of any of Metro’s general obligation bonds for public art.
And nooo it is not made from leftover pieces from Opryland’s roller coaster, which is a persistent rumor in town.
