GEC - Global Educational Concepts GEC was approved for our J-1 Sponsorship designation from the U.S. Department of State in 2005. Global Educational Concepts, Inc.

(GEC) is located in Nashville, TN. We are a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State’s J-1 Summer Work Travel, Trainee, Internship, Camp counselor, High School and Teacher programs. We fully support and believe in the public diplomacy opportunities these exchange programs offer our Participants, Host families and Host Employers. The leadership of GEC has over 100 years of combined experi

ence working directly with thousands of international students. We seek to provide the best service and support possible to the young people who participate in our programs while adhering to the regulations that govern these programs. Our program participants can be found living, working, and training all across the U.S. We are proud members of the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange and the World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation.

Our team convened at the lovely home of Dave and Cindy Causer for a fabulous luncheon prepared by Cindy. Opportunities to get together in one location are scarce due to our busy schedules, but we genuinely appreciated the wonderful hospitality and camaraderie. It takes a great deal of effort and dedication to achieve such outstanding results globally in support of public diplomacy, and we are incredibly appreciative of every team member!
