(GEC) is located in Nashville, TN. We are a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State’s J-1 Summer Work Travel, Trainee, Internship, Camp counselor, High School and Teacher programs. We fully support and believe in the public diplomacy opportunities these exchange programs offer our Participants, Host families and Host Employers. The leadership of GEC has over 100 years of combined experi

ence working directly with thousands of international students. We seek to provide the best service and support possible to the young people who participate in our programs while adhering to the regulations that govern these programs. Our program participants can be found living, working, and training all across the U.S. We are proud members of the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange and the World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation.

**Important storm updates for all of our exchange visitors located in the path of Tropical Storm Debby:

Debby’s winds, which gusted as high as 98 mph near its landfall location, will weaken as the storm continues to move inland. However, the storm will transition into a “potentially historic” tropical rainstorm with devastating flooding, the National Hurricane Center said. Many places could see 10 or more inches of rain through Tuesday.
