We're thrilled to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who joined us for our sold-out March GBTA Tennessee chapter meeting, which was a resounding success! Your energy and participation are the driving force behind our meetings' triumph. A special thank you to our Platinum Sponsor, Nashville Airport Marriott, for hosting us and providing an outstanding experience. We're grateful for your efforts, Courtney Lineberger, and were delighted by the thoughtful GBTA-themed cookies you surprised us with. We're also excited to welcome our new Platinum Sponsor, Air Canada. Thank you, Lupita Cardiel, for sharing the innovative ways Air Canada is connecting travelers from BNA to destinations worldwide. We're honored to have you as part of the GBTA Tennessee family. In celebration of Women's History Month, we took a moment to reflect on and share stories of women who have inspired us, both historically and personally. This powerful tribute served as a reminder of the profound impact strong, resilient women have had on our lives and careers. We also recognized our GBTA Tennessee Cares recipient, Global 1 Rescue, and learned about their vital work in combating human trafficking. Their mission is crucial, and we now have a deeper understanding of how we can support their efforts and report suspicious activity to make a difference. Finally, our keynote speaker, Amy Brodrick, delivered an insightful session on resilience and its importance in navigating the unexpected challenges of the travel industry. From duty of care during natural disasters to post-crisis debriefing and intentional reflection after high-demand periods, Amy emphasized the importance of self-care, preparation, and finding your tribe to sustain success in our industry. 🧡
