Vanderbilt BhangraDores

Vanderbilt BhangraDores Vanderbilt University's bhangra dance team. Founded in August 2011, the BhangraDores are Vanderbilt University's premier South Asian dance team.

Our purpose is to promote cultural awareness and aesthetic appreciation of Bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance. The BhangraDores commit multiple hours to practices and meetings which culminate in contributions to on-campus events and performances in the broader Nashville community. Additionally, the BhangraDores is a competitive intercollegiate team that travels to national competitions and vies for regional titles along with many other major collegiate teams.

CLINICS + AUDITIONS ‼️‼️‼️

The time has come to learn Bhangra!! We can’t wait to teach and see you all dance!! No dance experience needed- just come out and have some fun!!

You only need to come to one clinic, but feel free to come to both! Everyone is encouraged to come to office hours! We will post the audition segment on the Instagram so you can practice on your own before auditions. DM us if you have any conflicts!!
