Luckily a friend who lives here in 🇨🇷took me away from the touristy beach to show me a nice viewpoint & teach me how they catch shellfish to eat. They come w/ their families and catch lobster , oysters , crab ,& fish. The fish is grilled and the rest boiled in the same water. They sit in the shade & use the washed up dry drift wood for 🔥. It was nice learning how the locals do it. She said next x they go I’m invited 😀😇. No need to spend a lota $ to have a good time with good food. 😋Pura vida ✌️😎

Anyone interested in helping cook breakfast for people staying at the SVDP homeless shelter please lmk. Also if you’ve purchased gifts for the kids it’d be great to get them to my house by Monday evening. We can wrap them. 👏👏THANK YOU so much to everyone who’s stepped up to brighten the holidays for the less fortunate children in our community. Love u all😇💚

👏👏👏Want to thank everyone very much for stepping up this past week to purchase gifts & sending donations for kids living @ SVDP homeless shelter wtrby. Megan Santiago the director, has been emailing me with updates and lists. Ms. Santiago & her amazing staff have been very helpful with providing a list. I was there yesterday dropping off warm clothes & they were ecstatic to say the least. ☺️

That being said we will be having new arrivals and we are doing our best to get something for each kid. 🙏Here’s the new list.
Please drop off gifts by Dec. 23rd. We accept food the 24th. Xmas morning we will be making breakfast sandwiches for everyone at the shelter (100 ppl) just like we did on Thanksgiving. 🙌

So proud of the members of this group for doing the right thing. These kids will have a meal , warm clothes ,& toys thanks to all you WONDERFUL people. 😇Can’t thank you enough. LOVE YOU ALL 💙

We have received a Xmas list for the children living in the SVDP homeless shelter. We already have had ppl step up. We are looking for a couple volunteers to help shop & wrap. Anyone wanting to shop for a child on the list lmk. As always donations are greatly appreciated. Anyone who’d like to prep food can come with us or drop off for us to deliver. Like thanksgiving, we will cook at my house 6am Xmas morning then visit the shelter @8:00am. You’d be surprised the positive impact you can make on a child who’s in an unfortunate situation.

Great morning everyone. Here’s a list of the children living in the St. Vincent DePaul homeless shelter & their ages. Starting Thanksgiving morning we will be visiting with food , toys , & warm clothes. We are going to be doing Xmas shopping for the kids from now to Dec. 20th. If you’re able to help PLEASE msg us. We will visit again on Christmas.
Many of these kids have nothing, including a family to take care of them. An hour of your time can go a long way in showing these kids someone cares & instilling hope in them.

Hello everyone. Thanksgiving morning we’re asking for volunteers to cook, prep & deliver food for less fortunate people in our community. We are also asking anyone who can make a tray of food to drop it off Wednesday evening. We need volunteers Thursday morning 6am in Naugatuck. As the holidays approach we’re always looking for volunteers to assist us & help make a positive difference in the lives of our struggling neighbors. We will be collecting warm clothes , prepped food , & gift cards for restaurants & retail stores as well. Thursday morning we will visit a homeless shelter to distribute the food and items. If you’re not available but would like to help , msg us.
