Just a reminder that this month's "Traversing the Trails" will be on Sunday, 8/4 starting at 10:00 AM at Sand Valley! (We normally have them on Fridays, so we're switching it up a bit...)
We'll be hiking the Ridge Trail, so remember your water bottles and good shoes for going up and down those sand dunes. We'll see you on Sunday!
Dare to Explore Dyracuse
For those who like to live the fast life, the motocross/supercross tracks may be calling your name. Prefer to enjoy the scenery? The 10+ miles of trails may be more your speed, or perhaps a nice spin through the sand bowl...
Lucky for you, there's no need to trek across town to get the best of both worlds, Dyracuse Recreational Park has it all! Situated on over 700 acres and ran by the Town, this little piece of motorsports heaven welcomes riders at any stage and ability as well as all their family members and fans.
If we've already got your attention (or if you want to try the trails for yourself), we encourage you to check out the Dyracuse Recreational Park website and page for the most up-to-date information.
Summertime in Rome
The smell of freshly groomed greens. The slap of waves on your face. Live music at every turn. Fireflies and fireworks dancing across your eyes. The taste of kombucha, maple syrup, eggrolls or any Farmers Market goodies you've found. All of these and more give you a true sense of summertime in Rome; experience it TODAY!
Well, Mother Nature thinks that April Fool's Day is April Fool's WEEK...😉
Due to weather conditions this week, we'll be rescheduling the "Traversing the Trails" to next week (April 12) at 10:00 AM. The hike will still take place on the Van Kuren Recreational Trail.
We hope to see you there, and keep your fingers crossed for sunny weather to dry up the trail! ☀️
Calling all fans of Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy aficianados, and random fact finders! If you're looking for a fun weekly event with little to no cost, why not sign up for a trivia night in Rome? (We even have two coming up this week!) This is a perfect low-commitment event for those who seek to test their knowlege on sports, pop culture, history, and more.
Even if you don't think you'll do well, we still encourage you to participate (and who knows? You may surprise yourself with how much you DO know) and invite your friends along.
