🎉🎠🎉Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa turns 36 today, and this beauty just gets better with age. (She’s like the Tom Hardy of resorts!) The most recent refurbishment is literally breathtaking. 🌂The sweet touches of Mary Poppins magic is everywhere in the room against a back drop of calming blue. The theme parks are exciting, but the pull to just cuddle up and enjoy this room for as long as possible is going to be STRONG. You’ve been warned. Use those snack credits for the things that REALLY matter like a cannoli at the Italy pavilion during the Food and Wine Festival or hummus fries 🍟from the Morocco kiosk at the Flower & Garden Festival. 🐢 If you ever want to do something really special for someone who loves sea turtles, I’ve got an idea for you. No, I’m not suggesting traveling to the Galapagos Islands, just to the east coast of Florida! ☀️

Disney’s Vero Beach resort is HUGE on sea turtle conservation and turtles are found in the decor all over the resort. What’s more, guests have the opportunity to sign up for a guided early morning walk with a conservationist during nesting and hatching season. It’s quite an unforgettable experience and one a sea turtle fan would never forget! 🐢🪺

Sharing about FREE and FUN just never gets old. 🥳 At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and others (just ask when you check in if available at yours) there is a daily character hunt offered.

🔎Each day the resort’s mascot character is moved. Once you find it, take a photo with it and head to the front desk for your button and a location sticker. Search high and low each day for four days to fill your button with stickers. 🎉

Mel’s Dine-In feels exactly like your old favorite, gather around the TV family sitcoms you may have watched as a kid. 🍔🥢 When you’re looking for something savory and a snack that eats like a meal 🍽️, the cheeseburger spring rolls are unique enough to be the budget-friendly lunch you were looking for 💵. Although they don’t qualify for a Disney Dining Plan snack, you can get two spring rolls and a dipping sauce for right around $10. (And in theme park speak, that’s a steal!)

Snow White's Grotto and Wishing Well in Disneyland (on the right side if you are looking from the front) is more than just a pretty space.A few times each hour, you can hear Snow White singing "I'm Wishing" and her voice echoing back from inside the wishing well. Guests are encouraged to make wishes and toss coins into the well which are then donated to children’s charities.
