Crosswalk update. The permits were approved and came in yesterday for 4 lightup crosswalks. Thanks to all who helped us along the way with our fundraisers and guidance. Thanks to Mayor Zurliene, board members Galen and Bob. And a special Thanks for your generous donation Randy Linthicum. As soon as the signs arrive I will update with more information. Thanks again.

Last night we had a busy dinner meeting where we awarded two scholarships, met with the district Governor Mark Bryant and district member Barbara Taylor, installed our local board members, installed a new member, and our planning our next steps. We have some great plans we are working on. If you would like to be part of this great organization or have questions please reach out, we would love to have you.

Crosswalk update. We were denied all part of the grant, so we will NOT receive any grant money to help with the funds for the crosswalks in town. We have a great jump start on the cost thanks to all that have supported us, but we have more we need to raise. This is not the outcome we were hoping for but it won't stop us it, just take us a little longer. Be on the look out for upcoming fundraisers. You can help now by buying tickets from the Little Miss New Baden contestants. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
