Carla & family (from Illinois) are doing an 8 day whirlwind tour of the east coast, starting in Wilmington and ending in Maine. They made time to stop by New Bern.

I call it a "drive by cruise"... Park car, Cruise The Neuse, and off they go to Nags Head! Fun stuff!

I don't know if it was National Blue Crab day, but the crabbers were out in force yesterday.

Crabbers are required to "turn their pots" every 48 hours. Some set hundreds so they busy guys!
