Reality- Severe shortages with sail cloth. We are 12-14 weeks out for a new sail. If you are even thinking of getting a new sail for this summer please call NOW. Do not wait!! Definitely an issue worldwide. It is due to Covid shut-downs of production facilities in 2020 - 2021; inventories were exhausted and limited new production was unable to keep up. Combined this with shipping delays and other supply chain interruptions. Like all industries, they try to produce and inventory enough cloth to keep up with demand. The pandemic made a mess of this with increased demand and dwindling supply along with limited production.

Took advantage of the beautiful day yesterday to travel down to Gottschaulk Marina in Jacksonville to measure a boat for a new sail!

Recycling sail cloth! Katherine has been busy making bags. The green bag was a custom design for her daughter (embroidered interior pockets performed by her 5 yo!). Super strong reinforcements and use of sunbrella for the lining. She will make you a bag of any size and almost any color or specification. Just contact her at [email protected].
