Update 2/28/2024: Big Announcement! Texas Tubes will OPEN on Friday, March 8th, at 11am to kick off SPRING BREAK 2024! Texas Tubes will be OPEN 7 Days A Week (Weather Permitting), beginning on Friday, March 8th, and continuing all Spring and all Summer long! Our Hours of Operation during March will be from 11am to 4pm daily, with the last tube rented at 4pm each day, and the last Shuttle will be at 6pm each day. Fun Float Trips at Texas Tubes is one of the best and cheapest SPRING BREAK destinations for students and families on a budget! Spring Break at Texas Tubes features SUPER-FUN Comal River Tubing which includes the exhilarating and thrilling New Braunfels Tube Chute! Update, Sunday 10/15/2023: COUNTDOWN TO OCTOBER 29TH continues, which will be our Last Day of the 2023 Tube Season at Texas Tubes… that means there are only 15 days of River Tubing left (including today), so Come On Out And Grab A Tube And JUMP IN, the 72-degree spring-fed water feels amazing! Some Great News, 1st) Our Local 10 Day Weather Forecast is showing 10 Days of beautiful Sunshine, perfect for River Tubing! 2nd) Comal River Levels are up about 35 to 40 CFS (cubic feet per second) since August 18th, 2023 when we saw 50 CFS, the lowest River Levels we ever seen since we’ve opened back in 2002! On October 5th, Central Texas finally received some meaningful rainfall over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone, which we are now seeing the benefits of with the increased Comal River Levels, resulting in a more enjoyable float trip experience! Texas Tubes is OPEN TODAY with Sunny Skies and a High of 79-degrees! NOTE: River levels are still below normal but are flowing strong enough for fun and enjoyable float trips... there is no walking or picking up your tubes. All 3 Tube Chutes are flowing fine, however, there are a few spots where the current is slow, so you may need to paddle to move forward. Currently, Texas Tubes' float trips are taking around 3 ½ to 4 hours. Texas Tubes is OPEN 7 Days A Week (Weather Permitting) from 10am to 3:30pm daily, last Tube rented at 3:30pm daily, last Shuttle is at 7pm. Note: Hours may change as demand declines.
