Proof of life 😂. Sumner left for the Laax Open World Cup yesterday for a 6 week odyssey of competitions and training. I opted to stay state side (work is busy!) but will be joining him in Colorado and Mammoth. On deck: Laax Open World Cup, then a Rev Tour in Copper Mtn, Mammoth World Cup, followed by a Mammoth Rev. and onto Park city for more training…. Last stop Calgary for a NorAm,
Yes, he is still in High School and I’m so grateful he can live his dream while
Finishing school. Not easy for him!

Tomorrow kicks off Sumner Orr’s comp season with the World Cup Toyota Grand prix. There are two heats and the top five from each heat will go to finals on Saturday.
In Sumner’s heat we have Scotty James, #1 in the world and Olympic Silver medalist, Ayumu Hirano, #6 in the world, and Olympic Gold medalist (also the most exciting rider to watch imho) , Chase Josey, #9 in the world and top American rider right now. It is going to be so fun to watch. I can’t wait!

I’m just sorry no one can watch a stream or live tv 😞

TOYOTA HALF PIPE AND BIG AIR GRAND PRIX THIS WEEK…. These are World Cup events and can be views live.

Unfortunately , the network chose not to air the qualifiers and only the finals. This is really disappointing that Outsidetv made this choice as these sports need to support of the public and the exposure if great for the sport and all athletes.
ESPN airs competitive pillow fighting (which btw I would totally tune in for) so why not an exciting and extreme sport that a lot of people love!?!

Here is the TV schedule. While sumner will not be in the finals, we are rooting for fellow teammates and especially Joey Okesson to be in the finals. Please tune in live if you can but the replay is on NBC if you don’t get outside tv
