We hooped it up at Hoop Dee Doo Musical R***e last night and it was a yeehaw good time. Not to mention the all-you-can-eat fried chicken, ribs and strawberry shortcake!

Have you ever had a vacation day where you did almost nothing and it was EVERYTHING? That was yesterday. We rented a cabana along the Bay (an 8-acre pool) at Evermore Orlando Resort then went to dinner at Summer House at Disney Springs. The cabana experience was amazing with a dedicated concierge and server. What an amazingly relaxing way to spend a day with friends.

Well… change of plans today. We were supposed to go to Disney’s Castaway Cay today but the winds were just too much to get the ship into the pier. However, the cast and crew pivoted and added extra activities and we found some deck chairs on the 13th deck and enjoyed the sun. We, of course, went back to BINGO because they were offering a $7,000 jackpot… we didn’t win. However, we had a wonderful dinner at Royal Court then a fun send off from Mickey and friends and looking forward to a few few days at Walt Disney World.

Today was my first visit to Lookout Cay. While the winds were blustery to say the least, it was a wonderful day spent with friends.

Another amazing day aboard the Disney Fantasy. Today was our one day at sea so took advantage of all the ship had to offer. We visited with some of our favorite princesses at the Royal Gathering, enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Palo, tried our luck at BINGO, danced the afternoon away at the Silent DJ party, watched Frozen the Musical, and had a fabulous dinner at the Enchanted Garden (even though we were kinda still full from brunch). Tomorrow we stop at Disney’s newest island destination, Lookout Cay, so be on the ‘lookout’ for a fun preview of the island.

Day 1 of my voyage on the Disney Fantasy is done. We started with lunch at Cabanas followed by a tour of the spa… unfortunately we didn’t win anything but still fun. The evening show was “Aladdin” then dinner at Animators Palate. We capped off the day with trivia then happened upon a lone violinist playing in the empty atrium so we stopped for a bit to enjoy. When we got back to our stateroom we put our breakfast order out to get a good start on our day tomorrow.
