Enerpipe turned 35 yesterday! 🎉

Here are some quick facts about the pipe fabricator's history:

👉 It started on January 1, 1990.
👉 It was called Piping Systems, Inc.
👉 It was a stainless-steel pipe fabrication shop.
👉 It supported the local paper and nuclear industries.
👉 Enerfab met Piping Systems, Inc. in the early nineties.
👉 This is when Piping Systems, Inc. diversified into brewing.
👉 By 1996, Enerfab had become majority owner of Piping Systems, Inc.
👉 By 2008, Enerfab had become the sole owner, and Enerpipe was born.

We are proud to have Enerpipe, LLC, in the Enerfab, Inc. family of companies.

Aaron Landolt says that standardization will bring down the cost of building facilities in modules. He also says it'll increase the constructor’s ability to scale because the entire plant will have a plan.

Still, lots of people don't think about planning and design this way (or at least not yet). It's important that the engineers, architects, and constructors all get in a room and think about constructability.

A group of students from the New London High School toured our shop. They were interested in exploring potential career paths in the trades; having both the shop superintendent and the shop steward on hand to explain things gave them a well-rounded understanding.
