Went on TRON for the first time during this most recent trip to Disney, and it was great! I know some of my friends feel it's not as intense as Guardians, and I agree, but for this 43 year old prone to motion sickness, that was A-OK with me! I loved the fast take-off and the indoor/outdoor component. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the forward-leaning seat which cut into my bony ribs! But it was worth it.

I woke up at 7 am to get a spot in the virtual queue, and it wasn't too tough. But there's another shot at 1 pm in case you don't get the chance at 7. You can also purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for this one to ensure your spot. I don't know that I personally think it's worth it to do that for this one, but I probably would on our next family trip to make sure Pat and the girls could get on.

Overall, I'd rank it an 8 out of 10. Super fun!

My mom and sister and I had the best girls’ trip at our happy place!! Planning an adults only trip was completely different than the many family trips I’ve done for my family and clients, and it was such a fun time! We were able to go when crowds were (relatively) low and we did the things we wanted to do at our own pace! No rope dropping, plenty of time spent browsing the shops and eating snacks and much less of a structured schedule. I highly recommend it.

Have you always wanted to do an adults only Disney vacay? Trust me, Disney isn’t just for kids and you definitely don’t have to be a Disney super fan to enjoy it (though doing a trip without your kids may just turn you into a super fan!!)

The Grand Floridian’s newly renovated rooms are about to spoil me rotten!! I love this resort already but these beautiful rooms with subtle Mary Poppins touches take it to the next level! Every inch is tastefully modern and classic at the same time.

I had originally booked our trip at another deluxe resort that was a family favorite, and Disney contacted me about a month ago with a travel agent incentive: upgrade my client (in this case, my sister) to Grand Flo for about $200 extra total. Amazing deal right?! I was excited but not super confident since the Grand Flo has been under construction, but I wanted to check out the new rooms so we went for it. I’m so glad we did! The lobby is complete and gorgeous and the resort is as pretty and tranquil as ever.

An amazing first night dinner to kick off our mom and sisters weekend. The Boathouse was delish! I loved the Firecracker Shrimp, the Lobster roll and a the yummy rolls!

I told my mom and Kristie at dinner not to let me buy any new ears. Literally 10 minutes later…

The girls and Pat and I got to stay in an Incredibles themed room last year for Not So Scary and it was awesome!! I know Contemporary isn’t for everyone but my family loves it! The retro vibes are so nostalgic and you cannot beat the short walk to Magic Kingdom. The newly-themed rooms just add to that retro feeling.

The countdown is on!! In 5 weeks, I'll be headed to the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, and I'm so excited. Last year's favorite dishes included the Fry Basket's Fry Flight and the Beignet aux Trois Fromages from the France booth. This year, the social media chatter is completely focused on the Pickle Milkshake! Here are the top dishes I'm excited to try:

1) Flavors from Fire Chimichurri Marinated Skirt Steak Taco with Crushed Avocado, Grilled Corn Salsa, Pickled Red Onions, Queso Fresco and Cilantro-Lime Cream

2) Japan Booth Fire Taiko Sushi Roll with Spicy Tuna, Cucumber & Pickled Daikon Radish served with Spicy Sauce

One of the cutest Disney snacks I’ve seen in a while!

This beautiful snack sure makes a splash! 🌊 The Purple Pineapple Shell Macaron is filled with blue pineapple buttercream plus a chocolate pearl and is (almost) too pretty to eat. 💜🐚 Flip your fins over to Edelweiss Snacks in Disneyland park for this exclusive treat, available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until August 27.

The beginning of August... for some people, that means "Pumpkin Spice Latte" time, or "shop for Halloween costumes at Target" time, or maybe "casually buy candy corn every time you go to the store" time. But for true Disney-philes, August 1 means Spooky Time at WDW! My family and I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party last year, and I was a little unsure because we were going in mid-August as part of a client development trip for Pat's law firm. How in the Halloween spirit could I really get when it was 100 degrees outside? Turns out, it was not hard at all for us to feel all the fall vibes!

MNSSHP is such an amazing event! The Boo To You parade is hands-down my favorite park parade (the grave diggers are not to be missed!) And the girls LOVED trick or treating in the park, wearing their costumes, and riding the rides with the Halloween overlays (Space Mountain in the dark was the favorite for my two little daredevils). If you can make it to a party, I'd highly recommend it. And this year, I can help!
