Hard to believe The Eras Tour is coming to an end. The memories I made with this little guy at the concert will last a lifetime. This 9 year old little Swiftie had the time of his life & this Mom cried the whole time watching him! Thank you and the for some amazing memories & the perfect Mom/Son experience, not just on that one night in the New Orleans , but also every time we listen to your music. 🫶🏻

Dining & snacking on a Disney Cruise is obviously one of the best parts. The Disney Fantasy did not disappoint! Options for eating are as follows:

🍴CABANAS is the buffet open for breakfast & lunch

🍴FLO’S CAFE is a quick service located on the pool deck that serves sandwiches, salads, pizza, chicken tenders, etc…& our favorite French fries!!

🍴ENCHANTED GARDEN, ROYAL COURT & ANIMATORS PALATE are your rotational dining rooms. On a Disney Cruise Line ship you rotate between dining rooms every night but with your same amazing wait staff.

🍴 PALO & REMY are adult only dining rooms that serve absolutely amazing cuisine! These are not included in your sailing fee & are an additional cost

🍦 SWEET ON YOU is a sweet shop with ice cream, gelato, desserts & candy. Most of the things in here are also an additional cost. But it was literally the BEST ice cream & gelato I have ever had, & that includes my trip to Italy!

🍦 EYE SCREAM is your unlimited, all you care to eat ice cream bar. Ice cream flavors rotate almost daily.

☕️ VISTA CAFE & COFFEE COVE are your coffee shops. The coffees are an additional cost but the desserts are included. They also have a coffee addict card where after your 5th coffee, your next is free.

🛳️ The 6 ships in the Disney Fleet have some of these same places, but also vary. Every ship has some rotational dining places exclusive to that ship only. But the types of places are pretty much constant on every ship.

Character interactions on a Disney Cruise Line sailing is unlike any other! It’s a similar vibe as Disneyland where you will frequently catch characters just roaming around the ship, with no designated meeting areas or times. They will chat with you, hold your hand and walk with you while you talk or even have a little dance with you. But don’t worry, if you like a schedule you will be able to check the DCL Navigator app to see when & where your favorite characters will be meeting during the day & with the photographers to take your pictures. Characters also are often found in the kids clubs participating in some fun activities with the kids. Sometimes you may even be lucky enough to meet a performer from one of your favorite Broadway style shows on the ship!

Let’s talk about Port Canaveral! I have sailed out of & in to San Juan, Galveston & New Orleans with Disney Cruise Line & Canaveral is by far the most efficient, seamless & quickest boarding & disembarking I have ever experienced. Of course this is mainly due to the fact that Disney Cruise Line has their own established structure located at this port. The whole experience, from the time our resort shuttle dropped us & our luggage off to the time we boarded the ship & our family was announced in the lobby was under 30 minutes.

I usually choose which sailing I want to book for myself based on the itinerary, Castaway Cay is a must & now Lookout Cay will be on there. But now sailing in & out of Port Canaveral will be on that list too!

8 years ago today was my son’s first trip to Walt Disney World! In a few months he will be 9 years old & after many many trips to Disney Parks with him, the first one will always be one of my absolute favorites!

People always ask, “are babies too young to enjoy Disney? Should I wait until they are older?” and I always answer “absolutely not!”

When he was 10 months old on his first trip, my husband and I, both already Disney loving adults, had the most magical time enjoying and experiencing everything through his eyes! It was a trip unlike any others that we had experienced. Even now, 8 years later, every trip with our son is a whole new experience!

After flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico to embark on the Disney Wonder, 4 years ago today in 2020, I was blessed to be on the Wonder when it docked at the for the first time, to begin its brand new Port of New Orleans itinerary.

Then this time last year in 2023, we embarked on the Disney Magic out of the Port of New Orleans.

The New Orleans itinerary generally sails out of New Orleans, early in the year, usually coinciding with Mardi Gras. If you live in or around New Orleans, it is a super easy Port for you to cruise out of. It also helps save money on your trip by not having to fly, drive or book a hotel before or after your sailing. Even if you live close to Louisiana, the Port of New Orleans can be a convenient port for anyone along the Gulf Coast.

Let me know if you would like me to check sailings & packages out of the Port of New Orleans for you! There are still some sailings available for 2024 & the 2025 itinerary is already open.

The holidays have been hectic as always! Forgive me for my absence lately but in addition to the holiday bustle I’ve been this little guys agent, assistant, chauffeur, chef, tutor, Mommy & of course his biggest fan! Now that my Little Guy’s performance as Simba in the Lion King is over & Christmas will be here & gone in a blink of an eye, I will be back on here & in your feeds once again before you know it! ……..now, who needs me to book them a vacation for 2024?!
