The resting place of Samuel M. Todd, one of the founders of the Mistick Krewe of Comus. The Mistick Krewe of Comus was founded in 1856 and is the oldest continuously run Mardi Gras krewe. Mr. Todd was also a Masonic grand master, and is entombed in the Masonic cemetery in the City of the Dead. Also entombed here is his consort, Eliza Deming Scott.
