Are you looking for exciting part-time work? Our team at Concord Shore Services is looking for you! We are looking for enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individuals to join our New Orleans team in a PART TIME PIER STAFF position. Keep in mind we are in the travel industry so this may sometimes include holidays and inclement weather. Concord Shore Services works alongside our cruise line clients as representatives of their brand coordinating seamless operations between shore to ship. Candidates will be responsible for greeting guests and completing their online check in process utilizing cruise line software systems. Some must be computer literate and able to verify and input data from guest's passport and/or international visas. Friendliness and an eye for detail are mandatory.
Salary: $16.00 / hour Minimum requirements: Must be 16 years or older. Fluent in English language. Able to pass background check for government issued ID's. Willing to take drug screening prior to starting employment. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time often entire shift (5-9 hours)\. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull 20-50lbs. Some should have the ability to provide wheelchair assistance to guests via wheelchair up or down ramps for a distance of at least one hundred yards. Able to take direction well and adjust to fast-paced and ever changing environment. Well-groomed with a passion for providing high-level customer service, friendly and outgoing demeanor. Comfortable with using computers and tablet devices. Willing to work both indoors and outdoors in potentially uncomfortable weather conditions, and comfortable working in crowded spaces.
Applicants must apply for a TWIC card prior to start of work. Once this position is offered, the agent MUST obtain a TWIC Badge (cost $125.25) and will be required to attend training as needed based on location of work.
