Just a note of thanks to all of you for your AMAZING Disney baby tips! We followed them all and had a magical trip.

Tushbaby, formula holder/storer thingy and prepackaged ziplocks of diaper/wipes/etc were all MAJOR wins for us…and of course all of the baby centers on property!

I booked Giselle a mini staycation last weekend at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for her birthday weekend. It’s a moderate level resort that features direct skyliner access with being one skyliner stop away from Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There are 5th sleeper options at this resort that are perfect for a child or small adult. The room rate does fluctuate on the season but for last weekend Giselle paid an average of $239/night.
Caribbean Beach has beautiful grounds with an amazing view of Epcot’s nighttime firework show. They also just did a refurb on their pool for the season, and for the adults they have a beach bar called Banana Cabana where you can grab your beverage while they kids play in the pool. This resort also features Sebastian’s Bistro if you’re looking for a close sit-down dinner!

🚨 Important note that this resort does NOT have any elevators for their 2nd floor (it only have 2 stories but still good to keep in mind) 🚨

Giselle got to spend the evening exploring Universal Studio’s newest land.

🎉Dreamworks Land 😍 it features all your favorite characters from Shrek, King-Fu Panda, and Trolls. This is a super kid friendly area with splash pads, slides down the swamp (they make fart sounds) and a Trollercoaster 🥰 They also have meet and greets with all the characters, and a brand new stage show! It’s nice to see a kid friendly area in this park turn out so cute!

Universal has a lot coming up soon with the opening of Epic Universe in 2025 so keep an eye out for updates!

Brooke has been a lifelong Disney lover. She worked as a counselor for many years before becoming a teacher. By going on countless trips with her husband and two kids, Brooke gained the knowledge of the parks, restaurants and itinerary-building skills that are required to make a great travel agent. She joined Bonnie at Fairytale Journeys in 2016 and has helped many families since. Brooke is a first grade teacher. Brooke loves spending time with her family, traveling, and strong drinks.
