504tours New Orleans Welcome to 504tours! We offer English and German language tours of the historic French Quarter (10 a.m. daily) and Garden District (1:30 p.m. daily).

You can also book private walking tours upon request. As a German native and journalist by training, I covered New Orleans and the American South extensively for German Public Radio. My tours focus on what makes New Orleans so unique and so different from the rest of the world. This will be a super fun event. Who wouldn't want to see several thousand Santas running around New Orleans!

With the return of Running of the Santas, thousands of jolly, be-jingled joggers will descend on New Orleans’s Warehouse District at 2 pm, starting at the South Pole (aka Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar).

The 2024 Southern Decadence Festival in New Orleans is happening this weekend. Of course there'll be a parade on Sunday, September 1, at 2 p.m. starting on Royal Street at the Golden Lantern bar. Have fun!

Every Labor Day Weekend, the New Orleans gay and le***an community hosts Southern Decadence, the largest LGBT event in New Orleans culminating in a parade!
