Universal Orlando’s newest theme park is opening May 22nd and we can begin booking it October 22nd!!!

I usually recommend booking Disney cruises as far in advance as you can for the best price, but sometimes planning ahead isn’t an option. So I wanted to show some LAST minute options!!! Sometimes we just need a little social media detox am I right?! I’ve found myself spending way too much time recently mindlessly scrolling Instagram and Facebook. I have a lot of things I want to accomplish during this break btwn school semesters and I just don’t have the willpower to not waste time scrolling social media! So I’m taking a break until August 18th when I will come back and start sharing about our big California trip August 20-28!!!

We are heading to Disney World for the weekend to celebrate Phil’s birthday! We are staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village resort in a lake view studio!

We will be testing out the brand new lightning lane multipass and lightning lane single pass system, I can’t wait to see how it works day of the parks and what types of rides we are able to get throughout the day.

For dining, we have dinner one night at the new sushi place in Epcot, Shiki-Sai, another dinner in Epcot at Biergarten the next night, and then a farewell breakfast at Ohana with Lilo and Stitch on Monday! The rest of our meals will be on the fly!

Since we are always trying to do new things, we are also checking out the Behind the Seeds Tour at the Living with the Land Pavilion!

We will be park hopping each day and already have rides booked at MK and HS to start us off each day and then we will be hopping to Epcot each evening with hopefully some nice pool time or rest time in the middle of the day to get out of the heat!

I always say that Disneyland is the place for people who don’t want to do Disney 😂

It is MUCH smaller than Disney World while still having ALL the magic. It’s soooooo much easier to tackle because you can do it in 2-3 days, you can walk literally everywhere, so there’s no need to figure out buses, monorail, boats, etc. And the best part? The weather is SO MUCH nicer in the summer!

Disneyland just released some killer promotions for the summer! I’m talking a family of 4 can go for 4 nights and do 3 days of parks for under $3,000 at an onsite hotel. 🔥

Do you have plans yet for the end of August after camp ends before school starts? Disneyland is the perfect end of summer getaway, and crowds will be low since most of the country is back in school by then!
