Cans of Barrier Brewing Co. and J. Wakefield Brewing You NE IPAs Like Me are hitting the cooler this evening! So if you’re feeling like you need a beer that is heavy on the tropical fruit notes tonight, we highly recommend grabbing one of these bad boys.

Looking for an easy but unique stocking stuffer? 's Christmas Ale would make a great choice, with notes of dark fruit, caramel, and a healthy dose of bitterness of the finish.

It would be a real treat to enjoy it while opening presents on Christmas morning, perhaps with a little selection buttery pastries. Limited stock available at our Grand Central Terminal location!

First things first, check out how dang striking the label design, or lack thereof, for this bottle of Soured Wild Plum Ale from Two Metre Tall is. We love the nod to those old-school bottles of Port and Madeira. But back to the beer itself. The process for making this beer is pretty much the definition of a beer.

The base for this beer is allowed to mature for three years after exposure to wild yeast and bacteria, ensuring that nary a sugar molecule remains. After this, it is racked into five-year-old wine barriques with 25% whole wild plums, resulting in a second natural fermentation from the yeast on the skin of the fruit. Finally, after the beer is racked off the fruit, the beer is matured for ANOTHER 6 months prior to bottling. For us to give you a quick series of tasting notes would do this incredible labor of love a huge disservice.

Instead, we’ll just sum it up by saying that our entire staff is ogling this beer on a daily, if not hourly, basis. And we hope that speaks volumes. In stock at our Grand Central Terminal location!

Grab a can of Sizzle Sesh from Mikkeller Brewing NYC today to put a little spice in your Saturday. This DDH pale ale is brewed with Szechuan peppercorn, giving it a really unique earthy-meets-mineral note to balance out the super citrus & tropical notes up front.

We loved Gavin’s pick of the day so much that we’re also naming it our pick for . In Gavin’s own words, here is why he is so smitten with this beer:

"Being a fan of complex and unique cocktails, I was initially skeptical of a Chartreuse-inspired beer, but Brasserie des Voirons has me convinced! LUG Cuvee Chartreuse has a bright eucalyptus-like aroma and a lightly bitter herbaceous flavor that won me over right away."

We’re pulling out all the stops for this week’s selection. If you feel like treating yourself this weekend, grab a bottle of Sahalie from The Ale Apothecary should be the first thing you pick up. With a brewery focused entirely on wild/spontaneous fermentation and long-term oak barrel aging, you know they’ll deliver and then some.

Tart and pithy with peaks of papaya and tangerine, it finishes with delicate, herbal undertones that are just divine. Grab a bottle for yourself at our Grand Central Terminal store today!

We asked Gavin what he might be drinking this week and he responded by thrusting not one, but two bottles of Pannepot Reserva in our direction.

When we asked him why he picked that particular beer, he simply responded, “It’s Pannepot season!” Nothing to argue with there, we guess. Bottles of this delicious French oak-aged Belgian strong ale are currently gracing the shelves of our Grand Central Terminal location. We open at noon today!

It’s not every day that you stumble upon a beer that is at once beautifully simple and remarkably complex. But such is the case with Fenceline from Blackberry Farm Brewery.

This delightful farmhouse ale, with its pillowy texture and notes of Spring’s first fruit, will have you pouring another glass almost as soon as the first is finished. So might as well grab two bottles when you swing by our Westfield World Trade Center store today.

For this week’s , we decided to feature a beer that uses one of our favorite ingredients that we wish we’d see more often in beer - chestnuts! Bam Biere Castagna, from Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales - Dexter, is a farmhouse ale brewed with chestnuts that spends two months in oak prior to bottling.

With a solid earthy and nutty backbone and flourishes of bright acidity and citrus, this beer is a perfect transitional beverage for that time when the seasons seem to be in the “in-between” zone. Currently in stock at our Westfield World Trade Center location!

It’s been one heck of a long week and we’re just looking to unwind with something uncomplicated today. And we’re pretty sure that beer is Den from Half Acre Beer Company.

Den is one of the best kolschs we’ve had recently - and we’ve had quite a few. Super delicate malty sweetness is cleaned up by crisp carbonation and mineral bitterness on the finish. Don’t be put off by the sweetness, though. We promise it’s just the right amount and never spills over into the sugar sweetness we’ve encountered in some other kolsch variants.

Stop by our Grand Central Terminal location today and add this beer to your afternoon beer list.

What do you get when you cross with our staff pick for the weekend? Oxbow Brewing Company's Crossfade! Noah decided that if he could only drink one beer from the whole shop this weekend, it would be Crossfade. And we are right there with him!

We love the duality of this beer as it juxtaposes nuanced, ye**ty notes (courtesy of brettanomyces usage during fermentation and aging) with a bright and citrusy hop character. Grab a bottle for yourself at our Grand Central Terminal location today!

Looking for the perfect beer to stock your ice chests with at today’s backyard barbecue? Zero Gravity Craft Brewery's Keller is one of our favorites as it appeals to crowds and beer aficionados alike. This version is dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and expertly toes the line between delicate hop character and ultra crisp + refreshing.

We had to pull out a special one for our three-day weekend . What beer is special enough to be our selection for this rare variety of ? Adambier from Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project and Against the Grain Brewery of course! Adambier is a very old, German, sour ale style that holds much in common with another old German style, Altbier.

Strong with a bit of smoke character, this beer would have been aged for long periods in wood barrels prior to serving. This long aging period, combined with unrefined brewing techniques, would have exposed the beer to Brettanomyces and souring bacteria giving this beer its hallmark sour character. This reimagining of the style is aged in bourbon barrels and we love the update to this super complex style. Grab a bottle at our location and taste history for yourself!

Quench your thirst with a can of Seafarer from Three Weavers Brewing Company. This Kolsch-style ale is just what the beer doctor ordered for a muggy Saturday afternoon - soft, delicately grainy, clean finishing and uber refreshing.

It’s been a few months since we’ve had something from one of our favorite metal breweries, TRVE Brewing. So we are super stoked to have bottles of their collaboration with Perennial Artisan Ales, The Bees Made Honey in the Lion’s Skull, in stock right now at our Grand Central Terminal location.

Bees Made Honey is a tart saison brewed with local honey. The honey adds subtle, soft, almost-sweet floral notes to the finished beer. Which is a perfect complement to the light, prickly sour character on the finish. Come on by and grab one to check out today - we open at 10am!
