Warren Elwin | Making My Way Back

Steven Amedee welcomes Elwin’s return to New York for the first time in 10 years. Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Elwin is an abstractionist who paints with paper, cutting and manipulating isolated forms from old fashion magazines, juxtaposing them back together to find new lyrical compositions of chance.

Adams is an American landscape painter, working in the style of the early American Tonalists through studio and plein air work. Currently based in Maryland and West Virginia, Adams spends the majority of his time either painting in nature or simply hiking through it, taking in the vastness and technical information of natures ever-changing light. Please join us for an opening reception with the artist on Wednesday, April 24th from 6pm - 8pm. This exhibition will feature 15 small-scale works ranging in size from 5” x 7” to 12” x 20”.
