I am a licensed NYC Sightseeing Guide. My tours include not only sights but sounds tastes culture and a bit of adventure. My personal experiences always thrill the young when they see the actual places where films such as I am Legend and shows like Law and Order have been filmed! Let's not forget theatre! From Harlem to Broadway and Brooklyn, for the people of all ages theatre is a must see while in NY. Wow!

Beyond the Statue of Liberty, to the west, lies Liberty State Park, located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Prior to the establishment of the park, however, the area was an industrial site that included the Black Tom munitions depot. By the mid 1970s, much of the area was abandoned and filled with refuse from its industrial past, as depicted in this photo from 1973. Community advocates like Audrey Zapp and Morris Pesin worked to turn the derelict dockyards into an urban oasis. The park was dedicated, after a huge clean-up effort, in 1976.

Liberty State Park is home to an interpretive center, great views of the Statue of Liberty, as well as the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, where many Ellis Island immigrants boarded trains for westward destinations.

Visitors to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island can also begin their visit via Liberty State Park. Ticketing and security screening facilities can be found in the park and ferries depart regularly from the northern end of the park to bring visitors to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

The directors of one of my schools from Mexico. I love their disposition as we rearrange half their tour over a glass of wine in . We were supposed to see Columbia and NYU. It's a shame that half this violence on these schools is at the hands of NON students.

Did you know the Parks Dept is reponsible for restoring any building over 20 years old to its original glory? As a landmark this building and field is amazing. It's our first airport! You checked in and acessed the runway down the stairs.

Once in a while happened this week. With a little battle we got group St Claire HS to Jazz at Lincoln Center to witness South Africa Freedom Day Week: Bokani Dyer featured Summer Camargo! She has joined the house band as a trumpet player.
My students danced and the Music Director was elated. What an evening.
