Our production goal was very simple: to produce the best quailty VR/360 property tours in the quickest time possible while keeping the price low enough to make it affordable for anyone to buy. All productions have been kept in-house to keep the costs down. Turn around time once shot is 48-72 hours currently. Let me introduce myself, my name is Chris Mecham. I have been involved in many different aspects of marketing around Manhattan over the past 6 years. Most projects have had a focus in or around Real Estate. This past year I have been working along side industry leaders in the VR world so putting 2 and 2 together was not rocket science. Real Estate was the first thing to come to mind when I found out Facebook was pumping an obscene amount of money into Oculus Riff. I am sure millions of others were thinking the same. Over the past year I have been working out solutions on how to get the best quality Virtual and 360 experiences to a client in the shortest amount of time for the least amount of money. The Process
Shooting:
Our process in non-intrusive and in most cases we only need access to a property for 30 minutes to an hours depending on property size. Every property is different so we will find the best angles to showcase each property. We can shoot pretty much anything, from a studio to a full building to large commercial space to bare land for investors. Voice Over:
In most cases the voice over is done simultaneously while shooting the space. We are flexible here preferring that the realtor or owner record the voice over with help from our team whenever possible. If you are too busy we have other options. We have found being in the apartment while recording really brings out the best descriptions and ensures nothing had been overlooked. Voice overs can be done from pretty much anywhere with today’s technology. Neighborhood Overview:
We have found that a neighborhood overview is very helpful for out of town/country buyers. Typically 2-4 shots with a voiceover covering the best the area has to offer such as, parks, buildings, events, restaurants, bars, nightlife etc.. Branding:
We can add branding, company logos, and/or individual Realtor information to any video
Editing:
Once we have the shots and voice over needed editing can take as little as 24 hours but can take longer depending on property size and demand. It is recommended to keep all videos in the 2-3 minute range. Deployment:
We are able to make you a personalized landing page under the 360 Estate Tour website. We will also upload your tour to YouTube where you are able to distribute how you would like. We also can send you imbedding codes so you can add these tours to any website. We also can send you a video file to upload into GearVR for a total immersive experience. This makes a great in office display and can be sent to an overseas buyer if the property warrants the expense. Talk about white glove service.
