Produced by now-legendary Hip Hop photographer and historian, Henry Chalfant, the 1983 film immerses into the early years of NYC’s scene of emcees, deejays, breakers. But it’s the graffiti artists who steal the show as their visual masterpieces that take center stage on subway cars across the five boroughs. “It’s been over 40 years and I still believe this still holds a candle as one of the best forms of media representing street culture” -
