It’s and the beautiful city of Megève is at center "stage" for day 10! This stage features breathtaking mountain scenery, winding its way through a series of peaks and valleys in the Alps. Today culminated in a thrilling photo finish between Denmark’s Magnus Cort () and Aussie Nick Schultz () in the last meters of the stage, with Cort taking the win by a nose.

As beautiful in the winter as it is cloaked in the greens of summer, Megève is endowed with a rich and remarkable cultural heritage. Conceived in the 1920s as a French alternative to St. Moritz by the Rothschild family, it remains a well-known ski resort near Mont Blanc in the French Alps. The city still cultivates the soul of a true alpine village around its ancestral architecture, pastoral festivals and family atmosphere. Rooted in a tradition that is both rural through its agricultural heritage and chic through the Rothschilds, the spirit of Megève resides in a perfect blend of past and modernity.

Have you visited Megève yet? Allez!

Happy everyone! We’re off to LA to check out Mother Wolf 🐺💖

Mother Wolf is Chef Evan Funke’s homage to the Eternal City and culinary heritage of La Cucina Romana; he is a steward of Italian cooking traditions and culture. With Rome as the singular focus for Mother Wolf, Funke’s rich and soulful cooking is a mosaic of the ancient, pastoral and urban culinary heritage of la cucina Romana. The menu at Mother Wolf echos themes of shepherds, popes, farmers and artisans through wafer-thin wood fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti and the traditional handmade pastas for which Funke is renowned.

California’s unique and fertile growing regions produce some of the world’s most pristine seasonal ingredients. Chef Funke’s long-standing relationships with a network of California’s finest family farms allows a culinary approach that embodies the true cooking traditions of Italy.

anyone? Read on for the thrilling part; we buried the lede 👇😍

Seville is a jewel of a city, filled with bougainvillea. Famous for its beauty and historical mix of architecture, you can spot Moorish, Spanish, and even Roman influence blended together in harmony. The Giralda, once a minaret, is now the bell tower of Seville Cathedral, the world's largest Gothic cathedral and designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Just next door you’ll find Real Alcázar, a gorgeous palace with fantastical gardens, constructed on the site of a Muslim fortress. Gorgeous monuments, lush gardens, beautiful geometric patterns, and clean, quaint, meandering side streets…this is Seville.

Here’s something you might not expect of Seville: it’s a skydiving mecca! Experience a mind-blowing tandem skydive from 15,000 feet, the highest exit altitude for skydiving in Europe. And the location couldn’t be more special: freefalling above one of Europe’s most stunning and historic cities.

P.S. We’ll set you up at the fabulous Alfonso XIII Hotel…go follow 👉 👈and of course, Allez!

Happy 🥳

You’ll find Sessions Arts Club in the old judges’ dining room at Sessions House, a historic building in Clerkenwell, London. A fun mix of historical, elegant and shabby-chic, the restaurant offers vibrant, unfussy and flavor-forward dishes. Built on a studio ethos, the grand space combines a restaurant, bar, art and performance space. Bold, contemporary art adorns the space and changes, as does the menu, with the seasons.

SAC was founded by restauranteur and artist Jonny Gent, architect Russell Potter, and celebrated chef Florence Knight, who shines at the helm of the kitchen brigade. Chef Knight plays with contrasts, creating a stripped-back menu that allows the seasonal flavors to lead. Mr. Gent, fittingly, credits Chef Knight’s use of “light and shadow” in her cooking and plating as key to their collaboration.

Included in the 2022 Michelin Guide, this special place is a must-go next time you’re in London. Allez!

Happy everyone! We’re spotlighting a Michelin-starred restaurant with a sustainable philosophy, and an ever-changing menu with Japanese sensibility and French produce.

Chef Sota Atsumi, with an incredible career behind him (Clown Bar, Saturne, Toyo, Michel Troisgros in Roanne etc), treats us to French cuisine imbued with modern flair. His menus include the best ingredients the market has to offer on any given day. The dining room looks like a post-industrial loft with its roof shaped like an inverted V, its huge central table d'hôte, and open kitchen extended by a bar. A real delight.

Make a reservation now for the next time you’re au Paris. Allez!

Today’s follows the footsteps of _Ulysses’_ Leopold Bloom in James Joyce’s Dublin! We’re only a week late for Bloomsday 😅

Joyce set _Ulysses_ in Dublin on June 16, 1904. He famously said: "I want to give a picture of Dublin so complete that if the city one day suddenly disappeared from the earth it could be reconstructed out of my book." Stop to feed the seagulls off O’Connell Bridge, tour Glasnevin Cemetery and admire the National Library of Ireland—any reader can come to Dublin and arrive into a scene from the novel.

And why not rest your head in luxury at the center of it all: The Merrion is set in the heart of Georgian Dublin on Upper Merrion Street, opposite Government Buildings, the home of the Irish Government, amidst the rosy brick streets and grand squares for which the city is famous.

Pictured are:
1. Entrance to the Merrion Hotel;
2. A painted historic photo of the General Post Office (flying the British flag) and Nelson’s Pillar;
3. Sweny’s Chemist;
4. O’Connell Bridge;
5. Martello Tower at Sandycove;
6. Sandymount Strand;
7. Davy Byrne’s pub on Duke Street, where Leopold Bloom ate his Gorgonzola sandwich and glass of burgundy for lunch;

this week is: Art!

The Rosewood São Paulo is part of historic Cidade Matarazzo, a complex of buildings in São Paulo which date back to the early 20th century. Part of the hotel is in a former maternity hospital where more than 500,000 Paulistanos were born! In renovating the Maternity building, the team maintained the joyful spirit of a place where so much life began. Linked to the Paulista Avenue by a pedestrian walkway, the Maternity building is one of the city’s last remaining landmarks. Situated within a vertical park created by Nouvel, the property is a beautiful juxtaposition of modern & classical architecture. And there’s art throughout the hotel: in all, there are 450 works by 57 artists!

For today’s we’re taking you to beautiful Malta, and her sister island, Gozo.

Its dramatic history includes being ruled by Romans, Moors, the French and the British. Explore cultural treasures from ancient temples to stunning Renaissance buildings. And beaches! A trip to Malta combines the best of ancient Europe with the island beach scenery you find in paradise.

Gozo, Malta’s little sister island is greener, smaller and more rural. Oh hey! We’re in Normandy, at Mont Saint-Michel, telling the about Nathan Paulin’s record-breaking slackline journey here last week. Read on!

Nathan Paulin is a French highliner. Passionate about mountain sports since he was a child, Nathan started slacklining in 2011 and holds about 10 World Records in the sport. He finds true inner peace in this activity, which combines intense concentration and body control. Pushing the limits of this sport is one of the reasons why he is taking on longer and longer crossings. The search for new, unexplored places and the aesthetics of these sites is his main motivation.

On May 25, 2022 Nathan spent two hours carefully crossing a two-centimetre wide slackline suspended between a crane and Mont Saint-Michel. The 1.4-mile walk broke a record he had previously set in 2017. Mont Saint-Michel is a UNESCO world heritage site on a tidal island in Normandy, France. It houses a 1,300-year-old (and still functioning) Benedictine abbey as well as shops, museums, churches and restaurants. Though the tiny island may just seem like a tourist attraction, it does have a small local population of around 44 residents, including the monks and nuns at the Abbey.

We’d love to plan your trip to Normandy…Allez!

Flipping a switch this week—it’s 🙃

Near Oaxaca, on the Puerto Escondido coastline, lies a property that actually *does* as good as it sounds.

Designed by renowned Mexican architect Alberto Kalach, Casona Sforza embodies sustainability, and is truly a place where your tourism dollars make a difference. The sun-bleached property is the epitome of sustainable luxury, “adults only” and with only 11 stunningly appointed rooms, decorated with pieces by Oaxacan artisans using traditional techniques.

Founder Ezequiel Ayarza Sforza wanted to help preserve, rebuild and integrate Indigenous Oaxacan practices back into the region. He created a humanitarian project called Pueblo del Sol to revive millenary traditions into the community, giving back to nature and society. Of course, Pueblo del Sol needed to be funded…so 100% of Casona Sforza’s earnings is injected to the community-based project.

We can help you get there! Contact buttons in bio 😍

The volcanic archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 220 miles off Brazil's northeast coast. It’s a protected national marine park and ecological sanctuary with a jagged coastline and diverse, delicate ecosystems. It's renowned for its undeveloped beaches, and for scuba diving and snorkeling. Sea turtles, rays, dolphins and reef sharks swim in its warm, clear waters making Noronha one of the world's top diving and snorkeling destinations.

Daily visitor numbers are restricted to keep this paradisiacal landscape intact, so visitors need to reserve a spot well in advance. We’d love to help you…Allez!

Today’s is super cool! We are taking you to the Island of Príncipe, sister island of São Tomé in the Gulf of Guinea, Africa, to tell you the story of the Black Princess, Maria Correia. Born in Príncipe in 1788 to a wealthy Brazilian farmer and a native from Príncipe, she lived on to become a powerful, enterprising, generous and extravagant black woman—a legend in her own right!

In Príncipe, visitors may hike to the long-lost settlement of Ribeira Izé, said to be the first church established on Príncipe. The land had been a wedding gift to Maria Correia from her first husband to grow a new crop—cocoa—that he had brought from Brazil. But Maria Correia had a church built instead. Visitors can see the remains of the church, as well as the house that once belonged to Maria Correia.

In 1858, with the accrued wealth from the deaths of her 3 husbands and no heir to claim it, she became the largest donor to families and victims of yellow fever in Lisbon. And yet, when she died 3 years later, this history all but vanished. To this day, historians are not certain where she rests.

Doesn’t this make you want to explore Príncipe? We’d love to help. Allez!

This we’re in Swedish Lapland, indulging in the local tradition of coldbathing. Channeling you, 💖

Swedish Lapland is sometimes referred to as Northern Europe’s last remaining wilderness. With the late sunrises and early sunsets during the winter months contrasting with the summer midnight sun, Swedish Lapland is truly one of a kind.

Arctic Bath is an extraordinary floating spa hotel located on the Lule River near the small village of Harads. Built in a circular shape on the water, Arctic Bath floats during the summer and freezes into ice during the winter. Experience local coldbath culture in luxury surroundings: A giant ice bath ringed with three saunas, a spa treatment room and hot baths.

In the words of Wim Hof himself, “When we embrace the cold, this is when magic happens.”

Are you ready? Allez!
