Kaps Marina on Washington Island is a family-owned & operated marina with eleven slips & docks up to 50 ft. Pets are welcome and the marina also rents Jeeps for touring the island!

Enjoy a peaceful bike ride along the Lake Michigan Pathway in Racine, WI 🚴🏼

The Lake Michigan Pathway is an almost 10-mile paved walking & biking trail along Racine’s lakefront. It also connects with the Root River Pathway at the Main Street Bridge. As it follows the path of the Root River, the trail includes educational signposts that tell the story of the role of the river in the development of Racine.

The Pathway offers the opportunity to see beautiful Racine!

📍The Pathway connects with the MRK (Milwaukee-Racine-Kenosha) at 3-Mile Road & South Street to the north & with the North Shore Trail at Chicory Road to the south.

Algoma's Crescent Beach & Boardwalk is the perfect place for a summer stroll along the water! ☀️

Crescent Beach & Boardwalk begins at the Algoma Visitor Center & runs to the Algoma Marina. The half-mile boardwalk is handicap accessible at both ends & offers a great way to enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds of Lake Michigan.

The adjacent Crescent Beach offers ample opportunity for sunbathing, building sandcastles, swimming, or simply collecting rocks & other treasures!

The Sailing Education Association of Sheboygan (SEAS) is a non-profit organization. Their mission is to provide sailing education & promote boating enjoyment in the community. They offer a variety of programs, including sailing & powerboating lessons at all levels. They also have an Adaptive program for individuals with disabilities, making boating accessible to everyone.

Climb aboard the 40-foot Tartan sailing vessel “Northstar” for a sailing adventure on Lake Michigan!

This is a 0.3-acre mini park at the intersection of Main Street & Wells Street. The park contains passive recreational facilities including a kiosk, benches & it's a beautiful place for a quick walk!

Bayfield's Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a must-see! 🤩

The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is made up of 21 islands & twelve miles of mainland wilderness. The islands feature a natural landscape trimmed with sea caves, sandstone cliffs, & miles of pristine sand beaches!

This is a perfect place for a day of kayaking!

❗️Please Note: While a general or recreational kayak is safe for small bodies of water, a sea kayak is necessary to navigate Bayfield's Apostle Islands.

Did you know that Port Washington has been chosen as the location for the Mural Mosaic Global Roots Project America Connects Midwest Mural!

Port Washington Main Street, in collaboration with the City of Port Washington (Visit Port Washington) launched a three-year mural program to bring 10+ murals to their city between 2023 & 2025. This city has a rich art history, & they're excited to use public art to add vibrancy to their downtown & their city while paying homage to its history & character.
