I paid a visit yesterday to the Graffiti Hall of Fame, in a schoolyard in East Harlem (it is only open to the public on weekends). Artists have been doing graffiti in this yard since the 1980s. The Hall was established by community activist Ray Rodriguez (“Sting Ray”), and is currently maintained by the Bronx-based TATS CRU.

It remains a great gallery of some of the top graffiti artists in the city.
