Starting from March 1, 2025, the Hanoi City Police will take over the issuance of Criminal Record Certificates, replacing the Hanoi Department of Justice. This change is implemented under Resolution No. 190/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly regarding the restructuring of state agencies.

For applications submitted to the Hanoi Department of Justice before March 1, 2025, but not yet processed, applicants must contact the Hanoi City Police to receive their results at the designated address or via public postal services as per their registered information.

03 CASES OF WORK PERMIT REVOCATION📌

According to Article 20 of Decree 152/2020/NĐ-CP, employers must revoke and return the Work Permit (WP) when foreign workers no longer meet the conditions to work in Vietnam. The cases for revocation include:

Starting February 19, 2025, the police will take over airport security, meaning document checks will be stricter than ever! If you don’t want to be denied boarding, make sure to prepare all necessary identification documents in advance.

❌ LOST OR FORGOT YOUR NATIONAL ID CARD? DON’T PANIC!
You can temporarily replace it with one of the following 11 documents:

✔️ Passport
✔️ Travel permit
✔️ Driver’s license
✔️ Military ID
✔️ Communist Party membership card
✔️ Press card
✔️ National Assembly delegate card
✔️ Aviation security control card
✔️ Identification card issued by Vietnamese airlines
✔️ Level 2 digital identification
✔️ Certificate of identity verification
