We are excited to announce the opening of the new George Adams Gallery designed by studioMDA, located at 38 Walker Street in Tribeca‘s burgeoning art district. The inaugural exhibition will be a presentation of works by H.C. Westermann, „an artist who has been a vital presence in the gallery’s program since his first exhibition in New York in 1961“.

The new 4,500 sqft George Adams Gallery occupies an historic Tribeca building, featuring a large exhibition space, viewing rooms, offices, and storage spaces, all under 14‘6“ tall ceilings.

George Adams Gallery will be the fifth addition to join Bortolami Gallery, Andrew Kreps Gallery, Luhring Augustine, and P.P.O.W. Gallery in studioMDA‘s Tribeca‘s neighborhood design portfolio.

The Center for Advanced Mobility is a groundbreaking symbiosis between nature and technology, functionality and dynamic form, combining high-performance laboratories with the urban environment. Wind studies were used to develop the dynamic shape of the building which provides an optimal wind flow for the Aachen inner city and maximization of ventilation for the Center.
