As KLM staff from a variety of departments, we occupy the front rows of the flight simulator. We are wearing Virtual Reality (VR) headsets.

Ah Baggage Claim, the best part about traveling:) We can’t get enough of it, whether sitting in economy, business or first. Baggage claim does not discriminate.

We all wait in line for our precious suitcase hoping it comes out alive the way we sent it. Hoping that the other suitcases were kind to our little boy and that the merciless baggage attendants had pity on the only suitcase we’ve had since college.

Thats just the start of our worries. Then of course we hope that the bag actually comes out. Does not get stolen or taken mistakenly by another person on the flight. Or after waiting for 2 hours for the bag to come out, we find out its been in the “special bag department” this whole time because of its size or some other ridiculous reason.
With all the money airlines are currently charging for airfare there must be a more efficient, secure way to collect baggage at the airport.��Yes there are different bag tags and GPS tracking coming out. Those are all great, however the baggage distribution system can definitely use an upgrade.

We hereby call on all travel warriors/junkies/hackers to please comment and share with us your ideas on how can fix the baggage claim.
