It has come to our attention on numerous occasions that there is confusion between our page "Pak Mei Kung Fu NYC" and another page, "New York Pak Mei Kung Fu Association".

We are not the same group, nor do we have the same goals of promoting Pak Mei Kung Fu.
We represent the established organization of Master Kwong Man Fong, as it's been since 1974.

Man Fong Pak Mei participated in the 2011 NTD International Competition this past weekend. Represented by Sifu Ben Tam, we walked away with an honorable mention. But more importantly, we were able to share Pak Mei with other advance/master level competitors whom have never seen our art. While Nine Step Push had no artistic flare to garner points, we were successful in communicating the powerful and simplistic nature of Pak Mei and gaining respect from our peers.

On September 9, 2011, we celebrated the official retirement of Sifu Kwong Man Fong from public teaching. After 37yrs, Sifu Fong has passed the responsibility of growing his legacy to 7 of his indoor disciples: Chuck Chan, Chung Kwan, Edgar Wong, Kwok Kwong, Chi Cheung, Ben Tam, and Matthew Martin. Sifu Edgar Wong will be the heir to the NYC School, with assistance from Sifu Kwok Kwong and Chi Cheung as Senior Instructors. With the establishment of the Man Fong Pak Mei Martial Arts Association, Sifu Fong will assume the position of Chairman, providing oversight and guidance to ensure we maintain a high level of standard, stay true to our traditions and continue to uphold the Pak Mei Creed.

This year, it's Sunday October 9th -- so no matter what - it won't be a sauna like last year (middle of summer with no air conditioning). Doesn't look like the registration forms are ready yet though.

Old footage of Master Kwong Man Fong at 35yrs old performing 'Sup Baat Mor Kiu'; one of Pak Mei kung fu's highest level forms. This demo took place at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the late 1970's.

Old/Rare 8mm footage of 5th generation Master Kwong Man Fong performing "Sup Baat Mor Kiu" ('Eighteen Devil's Bridges' or better known as '18 Ghost Hands').
